Tina Marohn, with her cat Tink, in her home in Edmonds Washington

I live in Edmonds, Washington with my loving husband, James, of 11 years, my beautiful daughter, Anna, and three furry and loving cats - Oscar, Tink and Crystal. I am inspired daily by the simple things in life - my family, friends, good food, time out in the garden, creating art, sailing, and a good book and at times a nap. Life if good.

Tina

July 24th, 2010 Vendor at Go Dog, Go! in Kirkland, WA

January - February 2009 Gallery showing - mandalas and oil paintings at Raymond James Financial in Edmonds, WA

2007-2008 - Women of Mary's Place

Tina orchestrated sixteen women artists to paint portraits of sixteen homeless and formerly homeless women of Seattle. She then compiled the portraits along with the women's stories in a book called The Women of Mary's Place. Tina was inspired to do this community work as a way to use her gifts of creativity and to bring more awareness and beauty to these women who are invisible to most of us. 100 % of the proceeds from the sale of these books went directly to support the day shelter where these women find support and refuge. Please visit www.womenofmarysplace.org to learn more.

2006 - current: Tina finds opportunities to share the process of creating mandala drawings through classes at the local community center, spiritual retreats and in elementary school classes.

December 2007: Gallery showing of her oil and oil pastel paintings at Joan Longstaff's The Gallery in Edmonds, WA

April 2006: Gallery showing of her mandalas at Coldwell Banker Bain, Edmonds, WA.
